Kick-off för Expedition Bjurälven 2013
Ett tiotal entusiastiska grottdykare samlades i helgen i gamla skolan i Långban gruvbyn nära Filipstad. Ett två dagar långt möte blev kick-off för Expedition Bjurälven 2013. Efter att ha haft uppehåll i ett år är expeditionen tillbaka med nya krafter! Det finns flera ambitiösa projekt i pipeline, fokus kommer som vanligt att vara på att utforska Dolinsjögrottan och på olika sätt bidra till att exponera den och hela området den ligger i för omvärlden. Nya tekniker inom foto och video kan ge oss nya möjligheter till det samtidigt som det kommer att ligga ännu mer fokus på att kartlägga grottan och genomföra vetenskapliga undersökningar. Alla medlemmar i expeditionen har fått uppgifter att utföra under sommaren och under hösten kommer vi att lägga krut på att träna, slipa våra dyktekniker och planera. Kick-off for Expedition Bjurälven 2013
A dozen enthusiasticcave divers gathered this weekend in the oldschool at the Långban mining village near Filipstad.A two-day meetingwas the kick-off for the Expedition Bjurälven 2013.After taking a year off, the expedition is back on track! There are several ambitious projects in the pipeline; the focus will as usual be on exploring Dolinsjögrottan andcontributing in various ways to exposeit and the whole area it is located in to the outside world. New technologies in photography and videography can give us new opportunities at the same time asthere will be even more focus on mapping of the caveand conducting scientific investigations. All members of the expedition have been given tasks to perform during the summer and during autumn the focus will be on practicing, fine-tuning our diving techniques and planning.
